Instrument Transformer

Description

Instrument transformers are high accuracy class electrical devices used to isolate or transform voltage or current levels.

Current Transformer:

• With a primary current ranging from 2.5A to 400A with a class of accuracy of 0.2 & 0.2S for secondary current of 1A.
• With a primary current ranging from 2.5A to 400A with a class of accuracy 0.5 for secondary current of 5A.

Potential Transformer:

• With a primary voltage of (11000/√3)V & secondary voltage of (110V/√3) with a class of accuracy of 0.2.
• With a primary voltage of 11000V & secondary voltage of 110V with a class of accuracy 0.5 approved by all ESCOMS.

Product Features:

■ Epoxy cast resin current & voltage transformers up to 33 kV class.
■ Designed and tested as per IS 2705 part I to IV and IS 3156 part I to part III.
■ CTs with short time rating up to 40 kA for one second and dynamic current rating up to 100kA peak are offered by us.
■ Core used is of high-grade non-aging type silicon steel and nano-crystalline material with minimum losses to achieve maximum accuracy to serve for every long time.
■ Suitable for indoor panel mounting operation under adverse conditions and for special purpose applications.
